Scope
Cycle-1 always returns the same four slots: Kit (email for creators), Leadpages (landing pages), Surfer (SEO / AI content visibility), and systeme.io (funnel / email / all-in-one). The quiz reorders those four. It does not search a wider catalog.
Quiz weights
Each tool starts at score 0. We add points from your three answers, then sort high → low. Ties keep the default order Kit → Leadpages → Surfer → systeme.io.
Primary need (largest effect)
| Need | Kit | Leadpages | Surfer | systeme.io | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Writing / content | 3 | 1 | 3 | 2 | Kit newsletters + Surfer content editor; systeme.io email + funnel pages (not a writing editor) |
| SEO / research | 1 | 1 | 4 | 0 | Surfer’s published job is SEO / AI-search content; systeme.io is not an SEO scorer |
| Support / chat | 1 | 1 | 0 | 0 | Mismatch — none of these is a helpdesk |
| Scheduling / ops | 1 | 1 | 0 | 1 | Mismatch as a dedicated scheduler; systeme.io publishes a booking calendar (nearest-fit only) |

Research vs hands-on
Card copy paraphrases what each vendor says about itself on official pages (kit.com, leadpages.com, surferseo.com, systeme.io, checked 11 Sep 2026).
- Labels stay: “Research placeholder — not a hands-on review.”
- We do not invent testimonials, star ratings, or “we tested this.”
- Fit notes are category-level (email for creators / landing pages / SEO content / funnel all-in-one), not performance claims.
- Vendor marketing can change; re-check their sites before you buy.
Affiliate links and measurement
If you buy through a working affiliate link, we may earn a commission.
systeme.io uses a live affiliate href (UTMs appended:
utm_source=affairs&utm_medium=chooser&utm_campaign=systeme).
Kit, Leadpages, and Surfer still use:
/go/placeholder?utm_source=affairs&utm_medium=chooser&utm_campaign=<slug>
Clicks are logged in the browser (data-affiliate, localStorage key
affairs_chooser_events, plus a console / beacon stub). Placeholder
/go/* paths are not hosted on Pages, so those clicks are logged without navigating.
Live affiliate destinations navigate (new tab).
See measurement for how to export the log.

What this page leaves out
- Cookie windows, commission rates, and payout holds live in internal research notes — not here — so we don’t mix affiliate-program economics into product-fit copy.
- No Railway app, no application forms, no distribution posts on this MVP.
